Eric Westover is a husband, father, successful businessman, and a below elbow amputee.

His life changed dramatically in May of 2004 when his right arm was amputated below the elbow. Since that life changing event he has taken his life in a new direction with his passion to help others, dedication to excellence, determination to create change, and creativity in finding ways to achieve his goals.

While the road hasn't been easy and without great hurdles, it has given him a second chance to reinvent himself, redirect his mission and vision, and create a brand that is inspirational, heart felt, and truly unforgettable....

Don't pass up a chance to hear this remarkable young man tell his story from pain, heartbreak, despair, and frustration to an incredible finish that took him to new levels and opened his eyes to a new perspective that he applies and strives to live each and every day.

Before his amputation, Eric was Founder and CEO of Westech Theatre Services, a lighting design and technical theatre company for the live entertainment industry for over 10 years. His resume includes over 1000 different theatre, ballet, and concert productions around the country.

Today, Eric is a respected leader in the amputee community and a nationally recognized consultant in the nonprofit sector. His tireless energy, persistence, perseverance, and work ethic has positioned him to begin creating change for those living with an upper extremity limb loss or difference in the U.S., including the servicemen and women returning from the conflicts around the globe.

Eric was the Founder and CEO of UpperEx.Com, a web based resource and informational site created in 2005, just one year after his own amputation. The site was for individuals living with an upper extremity limb loss or difference. This web site, now owned by the UpperEx National Outreach Coalition, has become the premier resource for amputees, family members, educators, health care professionals, social services, engineers, and the military around the world. In just four years, the web site garners visits from 30 different countries on 6 different continents and boasts a publication base of over 15,000 copies per issue of the magazine.

In 2006, Eric founded the UpperEx National Outreach Coalition, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the unique and complex needs of those living with an upper extremity limb loss or difference. The young organization is continuing to grow exponentially and has already made an impact through it's innovative programs for this long underserved population.

When Eric's not growing support for the Foundation in the office, he's busy traveling the country meeting with hospitals, O&P labs, manufacturers, military facilities, amputees, and their families fulfilling the mission with his infectious passion and stalwart dedication.
